Loud post hardcore has become a time-honored tradition in Halifax, Nova Scotia. A History Of delivers songs with an earnest conviction and urgency that separates them from a musical climate of irony and its trappings. Punk energy built on angular rhythms and dangerous overtones, their sound lands between DC punk, North East indie and Chicago math rock. The band's lineage imparts a pedigree of great promise with members of The Plan, Intercity Runner, The Medium Mood, and Tomcat Combat. A History Of released their debut Victory Atlas EP on Noyes Records in the spring of 2007.
